Cancellations
Schooner Charley LLC reserves the right to cancel a sail due to weather, equipment failure, or the failure to meet the minimum number of guests. If we cancel a sail, your card will not be charged. You may cancel your tickets at least 48 hours before your sail for a full refund. Your tickets are valid only for your scheduled date and time but you may schedule a different date and time if you make your change 48 hours in advance. A credit card is required and will be authorized at the time of your purchase, and then charged when your sail goes out. Your card will be charged the full amount if you do not cancel your reservation more than 48 hours in advance of your scheduled sail. We will only do a full refund within the 48 hour period if we cancel a sail due to weather. Gift certificates are not refundable for cash.
Weather
Schooner Charley LLC reserves the right to cancel a sail due to weather. We will not sail in heavy rain, thick fog, high winds, thunder and/or lightning. We will, however, sail without wind, in overcast conditions, light fog and intermittent sprinkles. If we cancel a sail due to weather, your card will not be charged; if you have purchased a ticket but deem the weather unsuitable and don’t show up for the sail at the scheduled time your card will be charged. Only the Captain can cancel a sail due to weather. If the sail is cancelled, we will do our best to notify you ahead of time by phone, text and/or email. If we don’t contact you, assume that your sail will happen as scheduled.
